Our e-learning software was developed to allow classroom like interface for online users. Application has following features.

1. Duplex Audio Reception

   Using the application the moderator/presenter of the site can have a classroom environment wherein the participants are all logged into a single chat room, they have a text based whiteboard and full duplex audio reception module.

2. Whiteboard

   The whiteboard can be used for drawing images, inserting images, inserting text, inserting formulae, inserting a web page, etc.
   
   The software has provision to have multiple whiteboard at a time. This enables the presentor and the participants to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

3. Two way Broadcast

   The presenter of the chat room can do an audio broadcast to the entire room in such a way that all the participants are able to hear the presenter at the same time.

4. One on one audio chat

   Apart from one way broadcast to the entire chat room, the moderator/presenter has the provision to have one to one voice chat with any user.

5. Text messaging

   This application comes with a text messenger service using which users of the chat room can have text chat. The white board is a synchronous one, which updates the whiteboard on the entire user's window in the event of any change in the whiteboard content.

6. Raise Hand Feature

   The participants on the other hand, have the provision to interrupt the presenter at any point of time by clicking a button named "Raise Hand"; this action of the participant indicates to the presenter that participant X has a problem.

7. Moderator controls

   The presenter has two options, first to stop his broadcast and allow the participant to start broadcasting to the whole chat room; thereby the whole chat room is able to hear what the participant has to say. As soon as the participant has finished communicating his problem or query, the broadcast of the participant is stopped and the control is passed back to the presenter and then the presenter starts broadcasting to the entire chat room.
   
   The second option with the presenter is to neglect the participant's query and deny his/her request and continue broadcasting to the entire chat room.
   
   The moderator of the site has the full control over the complete chat room. He can set the permissions to each user online and can even remove a particular user out of the chat room. The whiteboard usage and private chat feature can be extended to the participants if the moderator thinks it's appropriate, else no user can use the whiteboard and have text chat with other users.
   
   

8. Private Chat

   If the moderator permits for private chat among the participants, then each participant can engage into one on one private text chat and audio conversation.

4. 100 MB available hard disk space for installation on the server.
